We brought in MCM Air to evaluate upgrading the old gas furnace and air conditioning system in our 60 year old nonconventional house.  This house had been remodeled and added on to over the years.  Due to cutting corners with the central furnace and duct work, parts of the house had to add base board heating and a second attic mount air conditioner was required for the bedrooms.  Lastly, a gas wall heater was added to heat the finished basement.  Pete from MCM spent an hour with me walking through the possible options and carefully walked through his recommendations.  After only a couple days, he came back with a very professional quote that simply and clearly outlined the options we could choose from.  Once we gave him the approval, he came back with his installer, Eric, and once again spent at least an hour evaluating the installation options and planning the work.  When they started the installation, they brought a lot of help and quickly installed the new system over a couple days.  They cleaned up after themselves every day and ended the job with a very effective, clean, and smart installation.  Tapping into their extensive experience and with their goal of pleasing their customers, they exceeded our expectations.  Pete and Eric found a way to creatively add some zoning to our system, unblock an old heating vent, and add a return air vent that appears to have obsoleted out need for multiple rooms with base board heating, the need for the second air conditioning system over the bedrooms, and the gas wall heater in the basement.  It looks like one high efficiency system installed very effectively is going to replace all of the other stuff.  We would highly recommend these guys if you want a very professional installation by a team that really truly knows how to treat a customer right.
